Let's change the face of prostate cancer!

Well...for those of you who don't know, November has been officially been changed to "Movember", in this neck of the words.  Men (and possibly women...eek) all over the world will begin growing mustaches for men's health, in particular - prostate cancer.  It's day 4 and I officially have stubble!!  Yay!

So, apparently a "mo" is slang for a mustache.  Together, the words November and mo, make the word Movember.  I learned this today.  I swear on my life, I thought Movember were the words November and molester put together.  Molester because that's what you look like on around day 17.  Anyway, the "mo" part, comes from mustache.  It's all making sense to me now.

If anyone would like to sponser me, I won't turn your money away.  For those of you I work with, be prepared for a month of fundraisers!  That is unless my sergeant sees my face and tells me to shave.  haha.

1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer.

It's the most common cancer to afflict Canadian men.

4400 Canadian men will die from this cancer this year.

Every mustache makes a difference!!
